What are we doing? Our group (Alex, Teagan, Casey, Tamar) is focused on elementary school children with Down Syndrome. Children with Downs have learning disabilities, so we want to help them feel welcome in the learning environment. Our idea is to take a book in PDF form without pictures, then add illustrations from people around our community to help Down Syndrome patients learn to read and feel more welcome in their learning environment.
