Thursday, May 19, 2011. We recently took a trip to Oxford (more on that later), which is just outside of the Cotswolds region of England. We LOVE the Cotswolds for their quaint towns and fantastic churches! Since in the Middle Ages the wool trade made the Cotswolds prosperous, we figured that "Wool from the Cotswolds" might be a good item to add to our list. If there ever was a place to purchase "wool" it might be the Cotswolds, right? But alas, we found a solution! Ok Whatever makes us happy, right?

Monday, January 3, 2011. A link in time. This isn't a recent trip, but it is something I thought was worth sharing. Way back in 2005, we took a big trip to Europe and Siena was one of our stops. This is a photo that Michael took from inside the Duomo in Siena. Fast forward to 2009 when we went to Paris. We were walking through the Orsay Museum when I saw this from across the room. I don't know why I think it's cool that we had essentially the same photo in mind as someone from the 1860's. Cool!

Monday, November 22, 2010. There is something about Europe, something about traveling with my Michael that renews me. Maybe it's the open-air markets that they have? Perhaps it's the grand buildings? I LOVE the churches. Or perhaps it's the occasional grand bridge. It's called the "bridge of sighs" and though it's a sigh of different sorts, that's still my reaction. Saturday, 4 October 2014. Yokohama, City of Gaijin (Fri 19th). When I’d been to Yokohama in the past my friend and I walked all over the place all day. Wes, Gabe and I were absolutely dead from the previous week that we decided to get the train over to the China Town area on the other side of town rather than walking from Yokohama station itself. Where is Doogie Howser when you need him? Type 2 diabetes, thyroid disease, and/or kidney stones. At any rate, I'm probably looking at either stabbing my body with a needle everytime I want to eat, removal of the diseased part of my colon, or some other type of surgical procedure. Oh and.my hair is falling out due to the stress. To add to my paranoia, all of what he is thinking, makes me scream cancer! On a brighter note.Michigan State won their first March Madness game. W00t.
