Tuesday, January 31, 2012. I am SO blessed to have so many wonderful friends. I have work friends, Relay friends, church friends, high school friends, and friends that I have met through other friends. Once we all become married with kids, we very seldom get to go out and enjoy some adult time with our friends. Well, this month was actually FULL of outings with lots of my friends and I loved it! We had our big Relay Kick-off on the 17th! My best friend/staff partner Paige. Amy, Susan, and me. Christmas f...

Hopefully I can write things worth reading. :) I'm sure most posts will be all about Zach! Speaking of Zach, he's munching on a corn dog and watching Phineas and Ferb. He mostly watches the Disney Channel and gets excited when he sees the Disney World commercials! He runs to Jason and says, "Daddy! Check out her FB page too! Tonight we are headed to the big city o...

Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Today was "crazy hair day" at EJE for their Red Ribbon Week. Its so much fun getting to do silly things with Anna that make her day! She thought I was pretty awesome when she looked in the mirror this morning. She said "Mel Mel, do I really get to go to school like this? She knows how I am about her hair being fixed every morning so it was actually a break for me to not have to flat iron her hair today! I love being a mommy and being able to enjoy crazy days like this! If you...

The Pickering Possy: April 2011

Monday, April 18, 2011. Baptism and Hunting Eggs. We usually start the whole "hunting eggs" thing a few weeks prior to Easter just to get everybody perfected before Easter. Anna will be with her mom this year for Easter so we did our hunting eggs this past weekend at Casey's moms house. No matter how old you are, dying, hiding, and finding eggs never gets old! We hid 42 plastic eggs first! Then dyed a dozen real eggs. And so did we). She was so excited all day! We are so blessed! Make something good today.
