Relentless Writers: Books Vs. Movies
http://relentlesswriters.blogspot.com/2015/07/books-vs-movies.html
Friday, July 31, 2015. Books Vs. Movies. A couple weeks ago a debate sprung up between me and a few of my friends. Which is better, books or movies? In the defense of books I must say that I enjoy writing a fight scene, I like the flow of my words on the page, like a dance of back and forth blows. Is it harder to do than actually acting it out? Of course, but in the end the sequence feels more satisfying. So, do movies do books justice? Do you always read the book first? Tell me in the comments below!

Relentless Writers: How to Sell Your Book without Selling Your Soul
http://relentlesswriters.blogspot.com/2015/08/how-to-sell-your-book-without-selling.html
Monday, August 10, 2015. How to Sell Your Book without Selling Your Soul. Right away I need to tell you something personal. Not the TMI-kind-of-personal, but personal in the sense that this won’t be the typical “how-to” blog post about book marketing. Why? Because sales and marketing turns me off completely and causes my skin to itch. Good advice, right? Yes, of course. But personally, I can’t do it that way. Not without selling my soul in the process. Let’s say you write about zombie insects. ...If you ...

Thursday, January 29, 2015. The 2015 Survival Guide to Living the Dream as an Author. Once upon a time, there lived a girl named Janet. By day, she slung medical insurance to the masses. By night, she attempted to hush the voices in her head aching to have their stories told. Fueled by coffee, dreams, and men in kilts, she slaved long hours every free moment, working to get these stories into the world, shaping them into a beautiful book baby hopefully someone would love. It's your job as a writer to do ...

Friday, February 27, 2015. Tackling the Difficulty of Writing Realistic Character Dialogue. Was it really THAT bad? They don't seem to be speaking to each other at all. Why don't they speak? First ever criticism received and a dagger to my heart! But, after a few rereads, I realised that the astute fella in the corner wasn't out to destroy my precious fledgling novel but instead was absolutely right! 1) Read some plays! I could never do it! The idea horrifies me! But you have to admire the people that ca...

Friday, May 29, 2015. Keep On Keeping On, or: Top Ten Reasons to Continue Writing. I've been struggling lately, so I'm going to talk about it. I'm working on the third book in a historical romance series. The first book, Gambling on the Outlaw. Will be released June 23, 2015 through Entangled Publishing. It should be available for preorder soon. I've had six months to write this book, as well. The deadline is August 31. Relentless Writers: How to Deal With Writer's Block
http://relentlesswriters.blogspot.com/2015/08/how-to-deal-with-writers-block.html
Friday, August 14, 2015. How to Deal With Writer's Block. I have a sneaky suspicion about Writer’s Block. I don’t think it exists! Now, in saying that, I do believe there is such a phenomenon as Writer’s Stop.
