Thursday, June 3, 2010. An end, and a beginning. A new mix of emotions. An overwhelming sense of happiness and sorrow. I am so happy for her and so excited for this experience she will have, but I also find it hard to breathe when I think of the wonderful life that will be reaching it’s end. Never would I have dared to imagine the joy that I’ve had the last 6 years. If I had I would surely have thought I was setting myself up for disappointment, because how could I have known how much love and enjoyment.

I did stay up until midnight last night, but only because Tyaan was out and I needed to go pick her up (I left home at 5 after midnight to miss all of the gun shooting in celebration, and to get there and back before all of the drinkers started driving themselves home) I got her and got home safely. After years of bugging me, I finally decided to get Tyaan a dog for christmas, but only if I could find one that I really liked. I started checking local shelters and found this adorable Puggle that was timid and quiet. (My kind of dog). I wanted to surprise Tyaan Christmas morning, but the shelter won't adopt them out unless it's been introduced to everyone in the household. So she got him a couple days early. Sep 3rd, 2010.

They had people bring chili and lots of kids (and teenagers) came dressed up for a trunk or treat. Tyaan borrowed a hat and dressed as a cowgirl. She won an award.she was cute. I hadn't been to Thanksgiving dinner at my grandma's house for many years so I was excited. We got there a day before Thanksgiving so we spent a day out in Salt Lake. We played a game and each got a cape as a prize. I actually won, so got a stuffed monkey as a prize as well. He went on a bunch of rides with me during the day. I was very excited because it was Tyaan's last year at camp and I was able to go with her. Tyaan's camp name is Outburst. Part of certification was crossing a monkey bridge. The priesthood got it set up and some of us got to try it out. Tyaan went across it very easily.of course. Luckily I made it across and nobody had to save me. We had just gotten home from Hawaii so I convinced her that we should do a party later in the summer. I used my mom's house and set up while she thought I was at work. Barstow to Primm is about 114 miles, and Barstow to Vegas is about 150 miles, so it was a lot of riding in 1 day. We stayed the night at State Line and headed home the next morning.
