LuNi Designs: December 2009
http://lunidesigns.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Friday, 11 December 2009. Its that time of year again. The end of the school year has arrived and I needed a present for James' teacher. She is pregnant and I think hormones have got the better of her - well it must be the hormones because how could anyone not love my son? SoA small reminder of my talkative lively child. The chain is fused sterling silver. And the charm is etched - sterling silver. Silly drawing done on ,printed and photo copied onto transparency paper. Its as easy as that. This Traveler...

Thursday, 23 July 2009. Still playing with enamel. Thank you everyone for taking time to comment on my blog - I appreciate your comments especially those of you who have way more skill then I do! Penny and I bought 3 more enamel colours and I made these earrings. Michaela wanted me to make her a pair of earrings with stars um well stars are not so easy - they look more like starfish. I used orient red - the bumps are clear beads crushed and sprinkled on. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Part of the TripAdvisor.

LuNi Designs: Pink tourmaline ring
http://lunidesigns.blogspot.com/2009/08/pink-tourmaline-ring.html
Tuesday, 25 August 2009. I am quite pleased with the way this ring turned out. The triangles were fused onto the ring shank before I formed it. It IS very pretty! And a triangular faceted setting! 03 September 2009 at 9:27:00 PM SAST. Valerie A. Heck. I love how the texture in the metal is the same shape as the stone. Nice! 06 December 2009 at 1:41:00 AM SAST. LuNi Designs: Hollow madness
http://lunidesigns.blogspot.com/2009/08/hollow-madness.html
Tuesday, 18 August 2009. I have the urge to make something hollow. Both the hollow pieces I have started to make in the last month have failed. The first is a hollow ring I got this far then got a little frustrated when I couldnt fit the outer edge to the inner bit and I ended up flatting it with my hammer. So I decided to make a pair of hollow earrings. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Brought to you by TravelPod. The Web's Original Travel Blog. Part of the TripAdvisor.

LuNi Designs: August 2008
http://lunidesigns.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, 16 August 2008. So in keeping with my resolution to practice other methods of stone setting. When I saw Janices work, I decided to try bead setting again. Setting the stone isnt that difficult. Its the cleaning up with the gravers afterwards that is really hard. I have been reading a little and I see that I am going to have to invest in another graver. This was practice it wasnt supposed to turn into anything. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Brought to you by TravelPod.

http://lunidesigns.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Friday, 24 October 2008. I started making this ring about 2 months ago. But it challenged me at every turn. My biggest mistake was trying to get away with a thin back plate for the large stone. Sunday, 19 October 2008. I have finally made something. These earrings were a birthday present for my sister. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Brought to you by TravelPod. LuNi Designs: November 2008
http://lunidesigns.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 19 November 2008. I made a bigger copper pair. Of these a while ago. I loved them so much that I decided to create a smaller version in silver. Tuesday, 11 November 2008. Enamel - well sort of. I am desperate to learn how to enamel. Penny has a kiln and I have serious tool envy. I Recently bought Linda darty's book on enamelling and set up a tin can Kiln as per a diagram in her book. All set up except uuh no enamels. I have thousands of seed beads, from my bead obsession days.
