The results from the prototype and the usability survey were incorporated into the latest site design. There is also a major issue with page sizes which may hinder people who have slow connections. Tuesday, April 08, 2008. Social Networking- Echo Image. Had a small breakthrough last night where I managed to view uploaded images that are specific to one user only. This has now been done by putting the image to an image directory rather than into the database. This then looks for the name in the directory against the name that was inserted into the database and recalls the image. I will then have to create the upload function which stores the image to the image directory automatically.
