An awfully big adventure…. A knock, a lock and a deal. Top 5 running bits of 2016 →. January 1, 2017. This time 2 years ago, I ran both Woodhouse Moor and Temple Newsam parkruns for the first time. I was delighted: I’d fought my way back after a year of injury to be able to do both 5k runs (with a rest on the ride in between) and it was the furthest total distance I’d managed in almost 15 months. The second 5k in the hilly gardens of the stately home was considerably slower, and much more muddy. I ca...

Jellybean in the Oven: September 2012
http://nw3mummy.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Jellybean in the Oven. Pregnant in London. with no Mummy friends (yet! Monday, 24 September 2012. It’s been bucketing down with rain for the past 24 hours, so I thought I’d do something constructive. Knit a scarf for Jellybean! Unfortunately, I used too many stitches per row, so I think it’s far more of a toddler/child’s scarf. Maybe I could double it up? Or perhaps turn it into a shawl of some sort, with a tie around? Not really sure how safe it is for baby. Any ideas? Posted by Jellybean Dragon. Pelvic...

An awfully big adventure…. Hangover killer →. Top 5 running bits of 2016. January 1, 2017. However, here’s my top 5 running moments of 2016, inspired by Curtis’s parkrun piece. Mini Mermaids – at times it was more like herding cats than anything else, but I was so proud of my bunch of 9yr olds getting around the parkrun course at Roundhay Park on a December morning that I’m going back to do it all again. Now where is that massive cream scone? View all posts by moremol →. This entry was posted in Running.

Jellybean in the Oven: Simple Panda Tote Bag - DIY Tutorial
http://nw3mummy.blogspot.com/2012/10/simple-panda-tote-bag-diy-tutorial.html
Jellybean in the Oven. Pregnant in London. with no Mummy friends (yet! Friday, 12 October 2012. Simple Panda Tote Bag - DIY Tutorial. I've always had a love of pandas and penguins, so I knew that the next tote bag I made had to be panda or penguin related; panda seemed easier as there are only 2 colours, so that's what I opted for. 2 x Main body parts. 50cm x 34cm. 1 x Strap. 10cm x 115cm (which would be cut in half). 2 x Liner for top of bag. 34cm x 12cm (can be anything over 12m). 4 x U-shaped for ears.

Jellybean in the Oven: Pelvic Floor Exercises atop Primrose Hill

Jellybean in the Oven. Pregnant in London. with no Mummy friends (yet! Thursday, 20 September 2012. Pelvic Floor Exercises atop Primrose Hill. Ladies are supposed to be good at multitasking, right? Right So, today the estate agent come over with a couple to view our flat, so I left the flat in a hurry for my (supposed) daily walk. I struggled up Primrose Hill, having bought myself a copy of The Times and a bottle of water from Tesco. Then I knew what I should be doing. Either way, I got up off the bench,...

An awfully big adventure…. A knock, a lock and a deal. →. The EU IN/OUT debate – an unexpected family agreement. May 11, 2016. I have just had a very enjoyable and animated Skype conversation with both of my parents about the EU referendum. Our politics are VERY different but they brought me up to speak up for what I believe in and always to vote because people died so that I could. We still love a good political argument, but I think we’ve just agreed on something. The Brexit crew are selling this to th...

An awfully big adventure…. Day off – A job well done. The EU IN/OUT debate – an unexpected family agreement. →. March 24, 2016. Yesterday, I got an email. My application to be a Mental Health Ambassador for the running club I belong to has been accepted. I’ve been looking for an opportunity like this for a while, and applied because I was so happy to see England Athletics floating such an important idea. Occasionally, I write things about stuff. Some of it might make sense. Day off – A job well done.

An awfully big adventure…. Newer posts →. Thoughts on the Death of the Thin White Goblin King who Fell to Earth. January 14, 2016. It’s been difficult to speak about David Bowie over the last couple of days. I adored him, but to say why, or what my favourite songs are is impossible. There’s just too much. I bought Hunkydory and Low first. I fell in love with my house-mate, and I didn’t tell her. We got very stoned, frequently. We wore vintage clothes. These 2 albums were among a rota of...I’ve dipp...
