June 5, 2015. Essential oil: Fir Needle by Brambleberry. Since this was the essential oil I wanted to try, I made the soap a green tinge instead of the original artist’s orange. I used 2 pounds of soap base for this trial based on the size of my silicone baking pan (9×9). I estimated 9x9x1=81 0.4. Area 40%. This gave me approx. 32 oz or 2 lbs.
