The Vine and the Branches. Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Caleb had an early release day so I decided to take the kids Niemans Apple Orchard to pick some apples. It was kind of warm and nothing was really marked for where we could pick. So we ended up just buying a couple of bags that were already picked and took some fun photos while we were there. The Vine and the Branches. Thursday, September 5, 2013. First Days of School (2013). Tuesday was Caleb's first day back to school with his 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Gerloff. He was definitely looking forward to seeing his friends and getting back into a routine. Plus, I think he was getting sick of Sonya following him around and wanting to play house with him. hehe (Sonya didn't start school yet, but we went to the OCS Campus where they had Chapel time and breakfast afterwards). It'd be convenient for hauling furniture, more comfortable for traveling, more room for when friends and family visit, and more practical for packing camping supplies. The Vine and the Branches. Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Sonya takes on a big bike. It was a dreary, drizzly sort of day when I decided to help Sonya learn to ride her bike. We started off in the garage where it was dry. It took a while before she got the hang of pedaling, the repetitive motions of her legs pushing down and around.
