Bryan Durren's Blogimus Maximus: Whoa, I Actually Painted Something (other than my bathroom)
http://bryandurren.blogspot.com/2011/02/whoa-i-actually-painted-something-other.html
Bryan Durren's Blogimus Maximus. Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Whoa, I Actually Painted Something (other than my bathroom). I did the Rotten Bananas sign for my kids' treehouse nearly two years ago. Shortly afterward, I had the idea for what their arch enemies would look like, and did a quick thumbnail, which has been floating around my studio since. The impetus to paint it finally came when Phil Hilliker asked me to participate in "MiniGrand- A Giant Show of Tiny Proportions". View my complete profile.

The show features a ton of great artists including Ryan Lee, Chris Houghton and Heather Hansma. If you're not familiar with the Covered concept, it is almost like a band doing a cover song: you pick an existing comic book cover and put your own spin on it. The show is based on the great Covered blog. I love your piece!

Bryan Durren's Blogimus Maximus: A Letter of Explanation
http://bryandurren.blogspot.com/2010/01/letter-of-explanation.html
Bryan Durren's Blogimus Maximus. Tuesday, January 12, 2010. A Letter of Explanation. Why, why, why does the world need another artist's blog? Well, it clearly doesn't, but I've been suffering from a serious case of blog envy, so I decided to step into the 90s and fire one up. Today was a big day. It was the start of a new semester at CCS, I got a promotion at Little Caesars, I launched my new site ( http:/ www.bryandurren.com. January 12, 2010 at 6:29 PM. Bloghorrea would have been good. I miss your clas...

Bryan Durren's Blogimus Maximus. Tuesday, April 6, 2010. Milton May Refuses To Take Off His Sunglasses Until The Hulkster Regains The Title! I created "Milton May." for the "Almost True" show at Lulubell Toy Bodega. In Tucson, Arizona, opening April 10th. It was a true labor of love, based on an actual dude I knew in middle school in the 80s, who really wore his sunglasses all the time in school for a week or two until Hulk Hogan won his title back. PS: Milton May wasn't his real name, so if you know it,...
