Going out tomorrow night as a zombie nurse;P I thought I'd share with you some halloween cupcakes I made yesterday with my flatmate, we made some horror(cute? Thursday, 11 April 2013. Hellooooo, sorry it's been a while since I updated my blog! Hopefully I will keep it up to date from now on. I just made a very easy strawberry sponge cake today, hope you guys like it:D. Piece of sponge cake - recipe here. 1/2 tsp vanilla syrup. 1 Cut the sponge cake into 3. 2 Whip the cream until stif. 4 Top with strawberries and dust some icing sugar on top if you want! You can enjoy your cake straight away or chill the cake for few hours for the cream to set.

Saturday, 22 September 2012. I finally get to sleep longer and bake:D got some left over sweet potato from hotpot so decided to bake a cheesecake. This recipe can make one 7" and one 6" cheesecake. 259 g caramelised ginger biscuit crumbs. 84 g unsalted butter, melted. Mix all ingredients and toast in oven at 180C for 10-15 min. Once cool, press down to the cake pan. 66 g unsalted butter, chilled. 84 g ground almond. Mix all ingredients until it resembles coarse crumbs, refrigerate before use.

Tuesday, 21 May 2013. Few drops of vanilla essence. 1 Preheat oven to 175C. Line a cupcake tin with 12 cupcake liners. 2 Melt the butter, add vanilla essence and let it cool. 3 Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and sugar into a large bowl. 4 Lightly whip the egg together with the cream. 5 Mix coffee with butter, add all liquid ingredients to the dry ones and mix until batter is smooth but liquidly. 6 Divide between cupcakes liners, filling no more than 2/3 full. 7 Bake for 17-20 mins.

Who cares if it tastes good ;) You might say it's too fattening for breakfast but life is too short for diet. I was craving for pizza and since it was in the morning, I came up with this crazy idea. Pizza dough - recipe here. 1 Cook the bacon in a pan over medium heat until crisp, cut the bacon into strips; Slice the sausage into small pieces. 2 Preheat the oven to 220C.

Sunday, 26 April 2015. 5 Ways to wrap a dumpling. Who doesn't like dumplings? Dumpling is one of my favorite Chinese food, it is so easy to make and can be stored in the freezer for awhile. I can eat 20 dumplings myself in one go. There are many variations. Of dumplings like: pork, chicken, beef, veg etc anything you can think of! I can never get bored of them! This is the classic shape of dumpling and my usual method to wrap dumplings. It is ideal for pan fried. 3 Simple two-folds dumpling.

Lemon juice from half of the lemon. 8 Oreo cookies (take the filling out). 1 Take the filling out of the cookies. Crush the cookies with the rolling pin. Pour the melted butter into the cookie crumb, mix to combine, then put all the crumb into the cake pan with removable bottom or cake ring, press evenly. Refrigerate until require.
