Friday, February 3, 2012. Lets see, January was the month of sickness for our family. First Bear was down for a full week. Then B3 had a brief date wit the stomach flu. Bill was out for the count for a full week, and still feels terrible. I have a slight cold nothing ti major just enough to zap my energy. I attended my first ward conference as Primary President. Thursday, February 16, 2012. I want to tell you about the man I love. I was on the phone with my Little Sister and we got onto the subject of marriage and how to make it last. Sunday, May 30, 2010. Phoenix Project: Day 110. Today we went for dinner at Mary and Zach's. It was so good - she made enchiladas with pork tenderloin, black beans, corn, cilantro/lime rice, lettuce, salsa.the WORKS! I'm not kidding, it was so amazing! There's something truly wonderful about having someone else cook dinner for you! It always tastes so much better! Besides swapping gross and funny stories, they taught us a new card game.which I have to practice a lot so I can go back and beat Mary!

Friday, October 31, 2008. Bob loves Halloween. It's his favorite holiday- in the real world, Halloween isn't a holiday but in Bob's world it would be! Last year he was the Phantom from Phantom of the Opera. He actually starts planning what he's going to do for Halloween a whole year in advance. We'll be sitting, eating our children's candy after they go to bed and he'll be scheming. Over what costume to wear for next year! Yep, it made no sense to me either! Gotta love Hot Bob! Monday, April 4, 2011. Alright I realize everyone might not think that my Son is as funny as i think he is but my goodness i can't help but laugh everyday at what he says. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. I love that at ten you still ask me to tuck you in every night. Even that you withhold a goodnight kiss to ensure that I will come to your room makes me smile. I know that soon you may be to "big" for a cuddle and a kiss before bed so I will continue to tuck you in for as long as you will let me. Your height may have been inherited from me but your mind is all your own. You are truly an individual. You stand alone and don't mind. When I grow up I want to be just like you.

Thursday, May 20, 2010. I spent this past weekend with eight of the funniest women I know. The weekend was spent sitting in the hot tub, eating too much food,a little shopping and getting to know these wonderful women from Strathmore ward. N.J. was the mastermind behind this great adventure. She invited a great cross-section of women so that we all would expand our circle of friendships a little more. What a wonderful idea. Our Family Adventure: The Zoo

Home is where the Army sends you. This is our life for HIM. We finally made it to the Virginia Zoo in Norfolk. It was a chilly start to the day, but that did not stop us from exploring the animals and gardens. I learned. saw something new! A giraffe sitting down. It was so crazy how many ways their legs, neck and hind-end bend. Hannah loved all the animals, but really loved seeing the black bear up close since she is mommy's "bear" and all. Lillian like everything, but most of all the elephants.

Monday, May 2, 2011. Monday morning found us packed and off for the week in Kimberley with good friends. The kids played sardines, capture the flag, sat in the hot tubs, watched movies, played games and generally just had fun. We went Geo-caching which was an experience. We learned though it just isn't as satisfying to find them quickly. When you have to look for a long time you feel awesome even when you aren't the one to find it. I hope you all had a great Easter.
