Life under a 9-pound boss
Life under a 9-pound boss. Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Ildri loves shoes. At least once a day, she asks me to open the closet so she can take all my shoes out and try them on. On this occasion, she put on a pair of my heels and declared that "Ildri go to work". ABC and 1, 2, 3. Saturday, January 8, 2011. Wow, I can't believe I haven't posted since October. Let's see, what's happened since then? Bye bye, bottles! I don't know how she picked up the word, as we hadn't decorated or talked about Christmas. St...
Nine Pound Catfish - About
The emphasis is on fun! Are a trio playing in the Exeter and South Devon area consisting of Graham Butterfield and Ian Gardner on guitars, mandolin, banjo and vocals with Jane Gardner singing and playing washboard and percussion. We are a relatively new band, having started together in September 2015. However we are all experienced musicians having each played in previous outfits. We play a mixture of hokum, ragtime blues and old country music, mainly from the twenties and thirties.

ninepoundhead - art, commentary, and social anxiety
Art, commentary, and social anxiety. August 6, 2015. You have potential. Keep going. We’re driving east, averaging 80 miles per hour, past treeless yellow-green hills and skewed stacks of rocky outcrops on our way from Oregon to Idaho. It’s all so big that it seems like we’re barely moving. The estimated arrival time on the GPS confirms this feeling: 4 hours remain, 3 hours 58 minutes, 3 hours 55 minutes… I force myself not to look. We accomplish nothing but distance. It’s all we need to do. July 5, 2015.
