Nick On The Net. Tuesday, July 25, 2006. I know what I like. I went to the Tate Modern with Rhona who I used to work with when we were both at my dad's restaurant. She has a share in a Greek place in Kensington that's doing well. I pretended to like a lot of the stuff, but I don't like modern art. But I don't hate it as much as I like her, so who cares? Nick On The Net. Tuesday, June 27, 2006. The Thais That Bind Us. I welcomed Gina to the East End with a Thai meal which I cooked for the house with no extravagance spared. Tom Kah Kai with Barolo '94 and the rest takes care of itself. Everything went well and the age difference between us melted away. This seems a little strange because her door is often locked and you can never really tell when she is having fun. She has changed quite a lot recently. We must have had our water tampered with or maybe we got a bad batch of Pringles but most of them seem pretty out of whack right now. Had a chat with Joey. It seems all of them have some kind of crisis they’re facing up to . What’s the matter with the tried tested ignore it, it’ll go away attitude.
