Friday, September 5, 2014. Every so often I finally find time to download the photos from my camera into my hard drive. A lot of times I find interesting pictures (like the one above) taken by Winston that I was totally unaware of. Can't wait to show this one to his first girlfriend! I can finally start building a retirement! I'll be doing a lot of recess time and helping out in the resource room working with kids who need extra help with their classwork. I'm looking forward to the bigger paychecks!

Monday, June 16, 2014. It was 25 years ago - tomorrow - that Tom and I said our 'I do's'. Our silver anniversary is upon us. Those years went fast! I decided it called for something special and out of the ordinary, so I made plans. Thanks to the little Chickies for loving to have their cousin around (and for Rachel and Nels' willingness to have Winston for four days) we were able to get away, child-free! Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Now on to brighter things. Cue: Monty Python singing 'Always Look on the Bright Side of Life'). We had a really nice Easter. Nels and Rachel and family came to have dinner with us. As always, it was a great time! The kids went hunting. And we celebrated Preston and Rachael's birthday! They had a cupcake birthday cake this year. Chocolate coco-creamcheese filled cupcakes for Rachael. French Vanilla lemon-creamcheese filled cupcakes for Preston. The cherry trees are in full-bloom.

Wednesday, May 21, 2014. On Mother's Day we spent the afternoon with some of our favorite people. The older boys had their 'girls' visiting. He will be looking for work in his field, and hopefully he can find something that is fairly close to home. He's the one right in the middle - kind of facing the camera. Friday, February 13, 2015. Tom recently got to spend a week in Puerto Rico with his brother, Paul. So while the rest of us were soaking in the 30/40 degree snow/rain mix, he was soaking up some rays on a nice sandy beach. LUCKY! He really had a great time, and it was really good for him to get to spend this time with his brother. Here are just a few pictures he took while he was there.
