Windswept Stars: Like a shadow it looms...
http://fordblues.blogspot.com/2005/07/like-shadow-it-looms.html
Wednesday, July 13, 2005. Like a shadow it looms. Even as it's the middle of baseball season, I can feel its ever-growing presence. It haunts me, but fuels me at the same time. Today, they announced the hockey lockout ended.secretly, I must confess.I wanted more updates on a stoner's weight condition. What is it about fantasy football? Why is it greater than all else in sports, now? Will I drop $500 on two local leagues with friends? How about 2 'free' leagues with more friends? Am I just fucking crazy?

Windswept Stars: December 2004
http://fordblues.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 05, 2004. Late at night, you crawl in my head. I close my eyes alone in this bed. Maybe one day, I'll forgive and forget. Not tonight, I can't let go just yet. Miscommunication is such an easy word. Hide ourselves in the dark, what do we learn? When I didn't want you, you wouldn't let it be. But I opened up to your world, and you sucked the love out of me. Windswept Stars: November 2004
http://fordblues.blogspot.com/2004_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 19, 2004. Do you ever wonder. Why 50 million people voted for Kerry and 2 weeks later, no riots have broken out? I feel part of such a big Pavlovian society. TIME TO PLAY X-BOX! Posted by slide like mercury at 5:40 PM. I often sit alone late in the night wishing I was back on the road inside the comforting embrace of country air and sparkling skies. The clouds change away from the city, possessing a wider more inherent smile. When I leave this home, I shall not return. Way to go Dubya.

Windswept Stars: My First Trip to Las Vegas (Cross-Country Story #1)
http://fordblues.blogspot.com/2005/07/my-first-trip-to-las-vegas-cross.html
Friday, July 15, 2005. My First Trip to Las Vegas (Cross-Country Story #1). At the age of 21, I went on a cross country trip. I had just quit my summer job (telemarketing felt like working for the devil) and school wasn't starting for a month. We had gotten through Colorado, and I should mention this is my first time west of the Missisippi since age 2. I had never seen REAL mountains before. That was nuts. But you can spend $15 bucks to stay the night.". We peel the fuck out of there. Virgins, we were.

Gregg Gethard's Amazing Personal Journey: December 2005
http://gregggethard.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Gregg Gethard's Amazing Personal Journey. I await your discovery. Enjoy my failures and laugh in the face of my rejection. Sunday, December 18, 2005. I no longer had to work nights, meaning I actually had free time. I didn’t know what to do with myself. I certainly didn’t have any girls to date. My younger brother, Chris, is an actor in New York City. He looks like me. He sounds like me. We’re pretty much the same person. Except he gets laid. A lot. The instructor’s name is Bob, who is more flamboyant th...

Gregg Gethard's Amazing Personal Journey: July 2005

Gregg Gethard's Amazing Personal Journey. I await your discovery. Enjoy my failures and laugh in the face of my rejection. Friday, July 08, 2005. I Know My Clients": My first trip to New York City almost results in my sodomization. I would go to the Res on 9/11 and would be joined by a few thousand people there. It was pretty haunting to say the least, to go to a park you've been to a few thousand times in your life to watch lower Manhattan burn. But enough with 9/11 sentimentality.). On the way over to ...
