http://malaihollo.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Then Christmas came finally. The presents were under the tree for a few days, and it was so difficult to just leave them there without even taking a peek. On Christmas eev 7 boys from China came over to celebrate it together. Since we were just back from our trip to Malaysia and Singapore the day before we kept dinner easy. We did raclette. For the kids it just couldn't go quick enough. Since we now know they can cook so well, we will make use of that much more! It was a great...

Friday, October 23, 2009. Oma in Hong Kong! Thuisgekomen s...Mooi jull...

Welcome to the Malaihollo's in Asia: October 2009
http://malaihollo.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 30, 2009. Oma's tweede weekje in Hong Kong. Nu vieren we lekker weekend.

Nesting in Skyscrapers: August 2012
http://nestinginskyscrapers.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 31, 2012. Hong Kong nail art. Remember the Snoopy-themed wedding dresses. On display here in Hong Kong? We know Chinese people love their animated characters! However, would you actually go as far as to have a Care Bear, Toy Story, or SpongeBob manicure? I think the Totoro nails are kinda cute, actually. Sarah, I'd get them if you did too! Thursday, August 30, 2012. Olympic fever in Hong Kong. Telford Plaza, Kowloon Bay. Tai Po Mega Mall. Grand Century Place, Mong Kok. APM, Kwun Tong.

Welcome to the Malaihollo's in Asia: Moving within Fairview Park
http://malaihollo.blogspot.com/2009/05/moving-2-weeks-before-due-date.html
Friday, May 1, 2009. Moving within Fairview Park. 1st of May, Labour day! Everyone has holiday except for us. We need to pack, move and settle into our new place. The baby still feels quite comfy inside, so that is really a blessing. The new house we are moving into is newly decorated from top to bottom. All the appliances are new, the walls are white and bright and the floors are white marble throughout the entire house. A fresh and crisp feeling. We immediately felt at home. Come on guys, let's go!

The Sweeneys in Asia: Cherish not Cling
http://hongkongsweeney.blogspot.com/2012/05/cherish-not-cling.html
Documenting our 3 years living in Hong Kong. Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. View my complete profile. May 14, 2012. We left Hong Kong over a month ago. I will be starting a new blog about this next chapter in our lives. I will update when I begin it. A wise friend shared with me the difference of cherishing and clinging. I can allow myself to be sad, but If I find myself trying to hold onto all the feelings, emotions and live in a perpetual state of lamenting the losses, then something is wrong.

Welcome to the Malaihollo's in Asia: Marvin Ralph is born 21 May 2009!!
http://malaihollo.blogspot.com/2009/05/marvin-ralph-is-born-21-may-2009.html
Thursday, May 28, 2009. Marvin Ralph is born 21 May 2009! On 21st of May we were blessed with a bundle from heaven! We are soooooo thankful everything went well and he arrived safely. His brothers and sister are very much in love with him. The day after he was born I could come home from the hospital. That was great! The kids could finally hold him and help changing his diapers and do all the little baby things. We are all "fighting" to hold and to cuddle him. A great time which we wish would never end.
