Neither here nor there. Sunday, 11 December 2016. I think sometimes, as children, we neglect our parents beyond our own knowledge. The only time we actually pay attention is when we have to face the inevitable oncoming of death. I think my grandfather's passing in September was lesson enough for me of how I should be focusing on my parents. I feel kinda sorry I'd been spending my time and energy on things other than them, to be honest. I'd like to think of this holiday-getaway as a reset button.
