Growing Up In A. This is a compelling saga of a very painful past. It should be required reading for all psychotherapists who need to be astute in picking up the clues the clients reveal of the trauma. As a clinical therapist, I have walked beside many courageous clients as they walk this path. I know of the pain they re-experience as they make this journey. Many clients could also benefit from Anita’s road map toward healing. It is a difficult but important piece of literature. Donna L. Johnson.
