Monday, February 20, 2012. Recently Mom decided that she wanted to make dresses for Faith and I from the Regency period. Because we wanted them to look unique, I enjoyed combining different aspects I liked from pictures and costumes in the movies "Emma" and "Pride and Prejudice". Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Dancing and Fancy Hairdos. Last weekend our friends, the Lewis family, decided to host an English Country dance in honor of Mariah's birthday. They decided that any type of costume would be fun, so we saw flappers, princesses, colonial era costumes, poodles skirts, and more. All of the girls requested fancy hairstyles, and I happily complied. I love designing pretty curls and updos. I ended up getting six hairstyles done in less than four hours - not too bad! Thursday, August 29, 2013. Water fun and animal sounds! Mia loves to play in the little wading pool we have for her, but she obviously wasn’t too thrilled about the towel. The new brand of superhero! You’ve heard of Batman…Spiderman…Well, meet Frog Baby! We took her to the splash pad last week, but she wasn’t too sure about all that cold water shooting up at her. Tonight was a significant date night b/c I wore the dress I bought in Mexico on our honeymoon 4.5 years ago. Haven't fit into it for one reason or another.
