Tours and Family Woodlands Walks. Free guided tours of the Botanical Garden are available every Sunday afternoon at 2 pm from May through October. Meet at the Carriage House Visitor Center. The guided tours last approximately 45 minutes to an hour, and are conducted by NJBG tour guides, or docents. Tours vary by season to highlight specialty gardens at their peak. Tours and Family Woodlands Walks. The primary roads in the Botanical Garden are paved and fully accessible to all, and form lovely loops for a pleasant outing. The Carriage House Visitor Center and its facilities are handicapped accessible, as is the ground floor of the Manor House. Please note that Skylands Manor tours last about 45 minutes to an hour and no restroom facilities are available for participants to use during that time. The Courtyard is surfaced in pea gravel.
