Our vision is two-fold:. To implement culturally sensitive mental health programs to rural and remote areas in develping communities. To decrease stigma, encourage independence through recovery and to re-integrate into the community with skills and to become an integral part of the community.

Current Project: South India. At present we are working in conjunction with Akshaya Trust. In Madurai, India that currently has an outreach program. Akshaya Trust has recently built a 50-bed facility for homeless individuals to house those who have been afflicted with mental illness, concurrent disorders, and developmental disorders - many of who have been left destitute and living on the streets. Our goal is to teach them how to work towards the client's recovery and re-integration into the community.
