A day in the life...: December 2006

A day in the life. In case you happened to want to know a little about my life, I am an open book. Saturday, December 16, 2006. Anyway, I was SOOOO proud. So was her entourage - Peter, Matthew, Sandy, Gina, and later (after she'd performed) Grandma and Grandpa. They were watching a movie and ignored my warnings that it would take longer than they thought to get there. Ellie's song was first and 2 minutes long. You come a minute late and you miss the whole thing, pretty much. In October we met up with Glo...

(Noah is Chinese.). Who are Elle, Lauren and Noah different from? Oh wait, I forgot. Noah is the same.". Elle and Lauren are different from you? Who else is different from you? Oh," thinking it was a coincidental fluke. Michelle - sometimes she's same, too." (Michelle is Vietnamese.). No, he's different.". Um I don't know!

A day in the life. In case you happened to want to know a little about my life, I am an open book. Saturday, April 29, 2006. Unsolicited, unappreciated, undesirable. If anyone has read anything I've written so far, you'll know I am very easily annoyed. One thing that has been REALLY annoying me lately is unsolicited advice. It gets really bad when you're pregnant, then even worse when you actually have the baby. Unsolicited advice from neutral parties/strangers? Unsolicited advice from acquaintances?

A day in the life. In case you happened to want to know a little about my life, I am an open book. Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Argh Today was a frustrating day. Ellie has hit her terrible twos with a vengeance. As soon as I tell her NOT to do something, she does it with this look. Sheesh. Broke my heart. And I'm POSITIVE it wasn't meant to be manipulative. I think she was genuinely sad that I had left her in time out. And Matthew decided to go down for the night at 8:30 tonight! Posted by sunju @ 7:13 PM.

A day in the life. In case you happened to want to know a little about my life, I am an open book. Friday, June 30, 2006. Like Fay and I have a clear understanding that we'll reprimand each others' kids, but I don't think either of us would put the other's kid in time out. I'd want her to, though. We try to be consistent with the disciplining, so it sucks if Ellie gets away with stuff when we're not there. Posted by sunju @ 8:47 AM. Links to this post. Monday, June 26, 2006. I'm really into Matthew these...

A day in the life. In case you happened to want to know a little about my life, I am an open book. Sunday, July 30, 2006. I'm so hot. It's the most disgusting feeling to need a shower due to stickiness due to simply getting in and out of the car/in and out of whatever building. Yick. We keep the AC downstairs off these days to save energy (our electricity bill two months ago was over $350! So I sweat even in the house. Houston stinks. Literally. Posted by sunju @ 8:18 PM. A day in the life. In case you happened to want to know a little about my life, I am an open book. Tuesday, October 31, 2006. A very long trip. I don't think people realize, but oftentimes a family vacation is not much of a vacation to a stay-at-home-mom. Aside from the precious hour that I had out with Irene, I was doing pretty much what I always do, only in hotels or airplanes or cars. Anyway, a lot of things happened, but here are some choice lessons I learned on this trip:. Don't get me wrong. We...

Posted by sunju @ 9:32 PM. Links to this post. I brought Ellie with me today to get my eyebrows threaded. Every time I go, the Indian ladies comment on the fact that I have no arches. Once one lady decided she could give me arches, but I ended up with pencil line thin brows, which were even less flattering. Peter figu...

A day in the life. In case you happened to want to know a little about my life, I am an open book. Tuesday, August 29, 2006. Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? By the way, go down to the bottom of this page and look at my Flickr thing. Those first pics of Matthew. who does he look like? When I first saw them, I was like, "OH MY GOODNESS, he looks EXACTLY like." then I couldn't finish the sentence. I'm fairly certain it's someone in my family, but I'm not sure who. Any takers?
