The suite uses physically-based backward ray tracing algorithms inspired by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Software suite by Greg Ward. These algorithms are accelerated up to twenty times faster using OptiX™. Accelerad can be downloaded from MIT's Sustainable Design Lab.
