Nicole's Costa Rica Experience. Saturday, April 3, 2010. We had scrambled eggs, cereal, juice, coffee, pancakes, and potatoes with ham for our good-bye breakfast from the beach. Lots of kids from the other group (blue bus) were on the beach watch the sun come up through the haze as I went for a walk at 530am. The bus left La Isla Hotel. We went up the coast to Jacó and Sarchi. We stopped at el Jardín. I tried to get some pictures of the Blue Morpho Butterfly, but it is very hard to follow with the camera.

Nicole's Costa Rica Experience. Saturday, April 3, 2010. Because it was Semana Santa (Holy Week) we needed to get to the San Manuel Antonio Park early. It opens at 7am, and the day before we went they stopped letting people in at 730am because they limit the entrance to 700 people . So we boarded our bus at 6am with a bag breakfast (bagel with bacon and egg, a slice of pineapple, a juice box, and a yogurt). We also had a box lunch (ham and cheese sandwich, juice box, cookies, and tuna/pasta salad). I saw...

Nicole's Costa Rica Experience. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Next we drove to our hotel, Atardecer, in Monteverde. Unfortunately the hotel did not have a pool, but the quaint downtown area was a 5 minute walk. After lunch (mashed potatoes, grilled chicken breast, rice and beans) about 20 people went horseback riding (an extra fee of $50). We boarded the bus at 7:30am for the Zip line at 100% Adventure. This was absolutely awesome! More to come- time for our night walk in the cloud canopy). Breakfast at 7am...
