Was developed by Carol Twombly. She created it in 1989 for Adobe. The real credit, however, goes to (drumroll, please) the Ancient Romans. Carol developed the font to resemble the ancient carvings that originated in Rome during the first century. This style, or letterform, is referred to as Roman square capital. Why did you pick it?
