I didn't spend nine years in Evil Computing School to be called 'mister', thank you very much. - LionsPhil's Journal of Occasional Doom

Mon, Jun. 20th, 2011, 10:20 pm. I didn't spend nine years in Evil Computing School to be called 'mister', thank you very much. Maybe eventually I'll snap out of the death march mentality, stop waiting in dread for the other shoe to drop, and be a useful and productive member of society! Regardless, since I noticed the central University upload of my thesis ignored all the supplementary matter on the CD that the examiners wanted, this has been this evening's productive endeavour:. The time to work out how...

The End. Almost. Sort of. - LionsPhil's Journal of Occasional Doom
http://lionsphil.livejournal.com/56951.html
Wed, Jan. 19th, 2011, 08:02 pm. The End. Almost. Sort of. I think it's reaching time for ths journal to come to an end. Quite aside from LiveJournal's own decay in terms of everything but advertising, it's now my primary source of spam from the comment system. So I'm probably going to have ljgrabber. Lock all the doors and maybe one day I'll actually host something under my control that isn't full of JavaScript. Wed, Jan. 19th, 2011 09:20 pm (UTC). Wed, Jan. 19th, 2011 09:36 pm (UTC). I also use gmail as...

Choose your own Adventure: Fanfiction edition - Ivy Blossom
http://ivyblossom.livejournal.com/536767.html
January 7th, 2012. Choose your own Adventure: Fanfiction edition. I'm considering writing a choose your own adventure-style piece of fanfiction. How on earth do you think I could publish it? I mean, you don't need to turn to page 64 for the continuation of a story, right? You just click a option as described, right? You click an option and it takes you to the next piece of the story. How on earth do you think I could publish something like that using existing fandom tools? I could set up a tumblr for it.

Also, we'll let you post to your LiveJournal from a non-LJ JID in the future. That means you can post from GMail/GTalk, once you prove your gmail address (or any other Jabber address) is yours.". 9/22/06 12:57 pm (UTC). That's rather a nice touch, but Jabber federation still seems to be some way off. Powered by LiveJournal.com.

Posted using LJ Talk. Posted using LJ Talk. Does LiveJournal Jabber do multi-user chat for communities/groups? 2/5/07 06:28 pm (UTC). Haven't a clue, but Hello anyway! It's not a dead LJ after all. 2/5/07 06:48 pm (UTC). To the best of my knowledge, no - LJ Jabber only supports the core one-to-one communications and not MUC functionality. Fecking bunny huggers - Cab

Fecking bunny huggers - Cab. Jun 25th, 2011. So when I have run ins with bunny huggers, its not because I disagree with everything they're saying. Its not. I actually think that the natural allies of people like me, those of us who believe in the importance of sustainable agriculture and ethical meat, are vegans; the two positions are not incompatible, they can be different responses to the same issues. So I didn't stand there for long. June 25th, 2011 04:04 pm (UTC). June 25th, 2011 06:34 pm (UTC).
