We’re going to be continuing work started earlier this year at the mouth of La Luz Canyon just northeast of La Luz (same place we worked on the previous work day in November). We’ll be doing some work on the Clarke property and starting some work on the November property (we have trail easements in place with both of these property owners). Park along the side of the road.

Here’s news for the 10 percent of pregnant women who are at risk for developing preeclampsia. Researchers have identified an enzyme linked to the condition and they believe a deficiency of the enzyme, called corin, may be the underlying cause of preeclampsia. This finding could lead to better screening and hopefully better treatment for preeclampsia. A paper published in the journal.
