Wednesday, September 3, 2008. For my graduation present, my Aunt Wawa bought me a plane ticket to fly out to Cali to stay at my other aunt's house in Camarillo for a little vaca, just the two of us. I have been really horrible about taking pictures the last few weeks, mainly because it requires effort that I am not willing to put forth, aka getting off my butt.But I have taken a few and we have been busy! We do know that we have no idea what to expect completely but we are very excited and ready for this little girl to get here, so here's hoping that the next few weeks hurry up and get over already :). Here's what I got for Christmas:. 1 A two-week vacation. 2 Snow, which I wasn't exactly thrilled about. 3 The chance to shake a boy's hand who had always wanted to meet a "real soldier." I didn't mention that I was in the band. 4 Wake up every morning next to my wife. 5 See the faces of two kids light up on Christmas morning when they got just what they wanted. 6 See the face of my wife light up when she joined the 21st century.

A Bit of Bum. Monday, November 9, 2009. A short while ago, the Army School of Music Student Company took a trip to Washington, D.C. The purpose of the trip was to meet some of the musicians who work with the Army's top band, Pershing's Own. However, a secondary purpose was to help us remember what our role is as musicians in the Army. We were constantly being stopped to take pictures with people; adults and children. We also had people yell at us from a distance, "Thank you for your service! Life as a Bum.

Chris Lindsey and Kids. Sunday, December 19, 2010. So last Friday we had our ultrasound. We had originally decided not to find out what the baby was, and Chris was less than thrilled about it! We told the tech we didn't want to know, so when she was ready to look at the gender, she told us to look away. We did, and when she finished she told us it was safe to look. We continued on the measure the spine and legs and I knew what it was. That little stinker kept flashing us his boy parts! We laughed so hard!

It was at Rio Tinto Stadium. The morning started out super chilly, but just as it was about to start, the sun peaked out and it was pretty nice. Chris Lindsey and Kids. Wednesday, April 28, 2010. My babys first REAL haircut. Cayden got his first real haircut last night! I have trimmed around his ears and neck a few times, but last night he got a real haircut. The back got cut short, and he now has a cute little fohawk. He was pretty good. He sat on my lap and I had to hold his head still because he kept trying to look at the scissors. Thanks again Kortni for making my baby boy look so grown up! He looks so big now! He is growing up for sure!
