My) Lesson for Today. In the car today, Tristan announced to me,. Mom, I want EVERYTHING I don't have. And I don't have LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of things.". I told him that #1, we can't always have everything we want, and #2, God wants us to be thankful for what He has already given us. Maybe this was a good lesson for Tristan's mommy, too! Monday, August 24, 2009. Saturday we celebrated my Dad's 60th birthday with a surprise party. It was really fun. We had mexican food from his favorite restaurant, Flores, and even margaritas. Dad was really surprised. He said he had no idea. I'm actually quite impressed that between my sister, mom and I, none of us spoiled it. Being a mother to two boys can be exhausting. But it is also FUN! Tristan wants to help him. If Logan gets on his "bike", Tristan goes to find his too. They obviously love each other very much, and this mommy thinks it's a joy to watch them together! I could get hurt. But I just don't care. First stand up tall. Then bend at the knees. Mom, look at me! I found a new game. What a fun way to play. I don't want my toys. I'll just rock all day. I know that I scare you. Cause I'm only one. 35 is gonna be great!
