The Monkey and Spike Chronicles: February 2012
http://ournewestmiracle.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
The Monkey and Spike Chronicles. Our unique journey to and through parenthood. Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Each January we celebrate two very special days for our family. Both my boys came home (Monkey from the hospital, Spike from Korea) during this month. On January 23, we celebrated Spike's family day. We flew home on that turquoise plane with our son, and our family was complete. Spike decided he wanted to paint pottery and eat at Flying Buffalo Wings, so we made it happen. The Monkey and Spike Chronicles. Our unique journey to and through parenthood. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Since I've been gone from the blogging world for so long, I thought I'd share some pictures that have been sitting onmy phone. Disney on Ice for Daddy's birthday. Hanging out on our favorite rock. Waiting for some very special friends to come home from Korea. Building one of their many structures. Tae Kwon Do lesson. Climbing on tanks in the "tank garden.". Thursday, September 13, 2012. Andy and...
The Monkey and Spike Chronicles: December 2011
http://ournewestmiracle.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
The Monkey and Spike Chronicles. Our unique journey to and through parenthood. Friday, December 30, 2011. Since I never put up a holiday post, I thought I'd update with a few pics. It was a strangely warm December, and the boys had a great time helping daddy put up the lights. They also loved shopping for Christmas presents. While out and about, they found some decorative duck tape, and spent hours wrapping up old toys and using the tape to secure everything together. Wednesday, December 28, 2011. 1 He i...

When you wish upon a star…. Tracking our journey of adopting our child from South Korea and back. February 28, 2011. On Saturday I took out the library a number of books on science type activities for toddlers. I have been wanting to expand on the activities we do with Alex with some educational type projects. While browsing Sandbox Scientist. By Michael E. Ross, I found a cool project that we had done before. Although I didn’t realize its official name of oobleck. February 28, 2011 at 12:42 pm. I’...

The Monkey and Spike Chronicles: Crossroads
http://ournewestmiracle.blogspot.com/2012/12/crossroads.html
The Monkey and Spike Chronicles. Our unique journey to and through parenthood. Tuesday, December 18, 2012. I think it's obvious that keeping up with the blogging world has not been my strongest suit lately. When I started this blog, it was to keep a record of our adoption. When that happened more quickly than I expected, it became a way to document our new life as a family of four and connect with other families who were created through adoption. I feel like I accomplished all of these goals. We are the ...

The Monkey and Spike Chronicles. Our unique journey to and through parenthood. Monday, November 28, 2011. I've been feeling unispired lately. Can you tell? Thursday, November 10, 2011. Jason, Summer, Noah & Sailer Pendley
Jason, Summer, Noah and Sailer Pendley. Saturday, February 9, 2013. I love that I'm inspired and led to write this year! Here's to post #2 in 2013! I'm jumping right in. No filter. It's all you, Lord. This is what I know. Unless God works, my best efforts are in vain. We do our best to provide an example, b/c we know that what we ARE speaks louder than what we TEACH. (A Mother's Heart, by Jean Fleming). But, we are weak. And imperfect. And, not always good communicators. Saturday, February 09, 2013.

Rainbow Love
Contact the Author sample mail@mail.com. By Margaret M. Peiffer. The Holy Bible describes the rainbow as God’s sign of His promise never to send rain and flood that will drown the living things in all of Earth ever again. This multi-colored bow that often appears after a rain, or even a drizzle, is a fitting reminder that God’s promise stands even after all these years.
