Thursday, June 6, 2013. Things around the Addesa house have been pretty standard, uneventful, "normal".until this last week. On Memorial Day, I saw a black shadow in the lower corner of the vision in my right eye. I googled, and found that I might be experiencing a retinal tear and should see a doctor ASAP. Only thing was.it was Memorial Day! Being that Noah has not been in a hospital in 6 years since his injury makes me very thankful and happy! Here is a pic of my three amazing, incredible children.

Saturday, March 17, 2012. I took Noah to have his computer evaluation this week! We met with 3 speech therapists who were very sweet and knowledgeable. The computer that they and I want for Noah is an eye gazing computer, that recognizes the retinas of Noah's eyes and as he looks at items on the computer screen. It has been quite a while since writing.sometimes it seems there just isn't much that's all that new or different.but some really cool things have happened that I just HAD to tell you! NOAH GOT HIS COMPUTER! It came in the mail, and we've had it on, but am waiting to get together with a therapist to set up all the specifics and adjust it to his chair(I tried in both areas and think I messed things up a bit.what can I say.I'm EXCITED! ANDhe went solo with DAD!

Thursday, December 15, 2011. NOAH HAS A VAN! The most amazing and wonderful thing happened on Tuesday.Noah was given a van by Chartway Federal Credit Union's We Promise Foundation! I am still in shock.I keep going out to the driveway to see if it's really real. and just to look at it! I cryed.still am, as are our families and friends.TOTALLY overwhelmed.filled with sheer happiness and gratitude! Blessed and loved beyond belief! Thank you to Chartway, the We Promise Foundation and all. But in a good way!
