Clean-up time at Casa de Zombie. May 8th, 2007. It’s official… I’ve crapped my pants and my head’s exploded from mass expansion. My little cherry quilt. Not to mention getting published by my favorite publisher. Isn’t cool enough as it is! May 8th, 2007. I’m on my way to the store to pick it up before they’re all gone! May 8th, 2007. That is so amazing! You and Pam are the most famous people I know. Is that the Cherry quilt on the cover of the magazine shown in this post? I might need an autograph though.

Thursday, July 17, 2008. Lordy, Lordy look who's 40. Today was my birthday. I cannot believe I am this old. I took a few self portraits for posterity. I like this black/white one the best-. Here I am in color -. Yeah, not a good hair day, but when it's almost 90 and really high humidity I'm lucky my bangs even stayed straight! I hope I look as good as you at 40. Thursday, May 15, 2008. Henry gets brother - meet Sam! Henry has a new Pekingese brother named Sam. He is so adorable and looks like a little lion. He hasn't quite figured out what "say cheese" and "look over here" mean yet.we're working on it. This is *my* New York. Someday.when people hear "new york", they'll think of this instead of NY city! This is two minutes from my house just off Ontario Pathways). Guess I shouldn't have held back. Look who stopped by to visit me! Walkin' Ontario Pathways again.

Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Henry's first trip to Canandaigua Lake. Yeah, can't post without a picture of my dear little Henry. I wish someone would have told me he'd go from 7lbs to 101/2 lbs in 3 weeks! Emily goes to NYC. Emily took a trip to New York City with her Spanish class (she's smart as a whip that girl and has a 100 in the class.still can't get her to teach me any spanish though! Tuesday, August 5, 2008. If no answer.I'm in the Garden. We've had gloriously not-too-hot weather and as usual, I'm trying to soak up as much sun and get yard time as possible. Here's an update on how big the sunflowers are now. Oh, you can't tell that the sunflower is over a foot wide from that picture? Here's Emily (all 5'3" of her) standing next to them for some perspective. I love her pose when I requested she stand there! I can't believe how tall those sunflowers are! My musing on parenting, studying and crafting. Sunday, February 7, 2010. You only notice when it goes wrong! Yes, every day. They are NOT elegant or pretty and as a result it's pretty difficult getting dressed in the morning. I mean what do these things go with other than yoga pants or running gear. Oh well. As a result of this ugliness I gave in to this. Not good. But I also cooked these which are healthy and delicious. And there has been knitting - maybe I'll have something to show you next time.

My musing on parenting, studying and crafting. Monday, February 8, 2010. How can a pair of shoes have so much impact? You know the shoes in the last post - the ugly trainers? They are taking over my life. What clothing goes with trainers other than workout pants and a tee? The answer really is none. Mmmmm Someone did suggest jeans with the trainers - but it's just so 80's. I'll just have to spend my time looking ahead and not down (at my trainers). Only another 3 weeks to last out.
