The next day, we got up around eleven and went walking again. we walked from bierstadt into the center of town and through my old neighborhood. i showed scott where i went to primary school and where i went to gymnasium. A hairy home companion. Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Wiesbaden is a very special place to me. i spent six years of my childhood in this city, and i think about it all the time. Our friend, alex, picked us up from the hauptbahnhof in wiesbaden and took us to where we were staying. we took a quick catnap and then explored wiesbaden. our first stop was a little cafe to get some coffee. Looks like a haunted house, but it's not. Real coke made with real sugar. so much better than the syrup they use here.
