Welcome to Michael's Nightmare: My bout with MS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS RAMBLING COLLECTION OF THOUGHTS. My parents left my supplies and me in my dorm room as snow fell by the window. I went to a town bar to meet up with my friend and when I got there he decided he was going back to the campus with his girlfriend. The realization that I no longer had the job or my friend's that I did at home finally sunk in and my car sat at the curb at my family home. IT CAN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS. WHEN TO ASK FOR HELP.

Getting into the First Floor of a 1954 Cape Cod,. In 1990 I was diagnosed with MS, a progressive disease that my family and I dealt with as the disease developed. When I was confined to my scooter, I found I needed a driveway ramp to step into my van and to keep other cars from blocking my way in the driveway. My twelve-year-old son, Chris, built the ramp with my instructions. The second ramp we built, one I use to move from the driveway to the back yard. 2011 marks 10 years of Birdzilla.
