No crumb left behind...: April 2011
http://nocrumb.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 20, 2011. I've got a simple entry today, simple but delicious. The Mexican condiment known as Pico De Gallo. A few fresh ingredients is all you'll need. The possibilities for Pico are endless, for this particular application, I made them for burritos and the extra for chips. But there are plenty more options for which to use Pico. To make it we need:. 1 Jalapeno (you can either use the seeds or not depending on how spicy you want it). 4 Cloves of Garlic. Sunday, April 3, 2011. I brined t...
No crumb left behind...: Smoked Beef Brisket
http://nocrumb.blogspot.com/2010/12/smoked-beef-brisket.html
Thursday, December 16, 2010. This is my first post and I wanted to start off with my favorite thing to make, Brisket! So for this brisket, I started with a 16 pound packer's cut that I got from my local butcher. It was a little more than other brisket I got from Sam's, but really wanted to try the quality from a butcher. From here, I took it out of the packaging and just rinsed it with water then made up the marinate:. 3 cups of Dr. Pepper. 1/2 cup of Terriaki. 1/2 cup of Worcestershire sauce. Close the ...
No crumb left behind...: Smoked spare ribs
http://nocrumb.blogspot.com/2011/04/smoked-spare-ribs.html
Sunday, April 3, 2011. I just recently returned from a trip to memphis. While there, i certainly ate my fill of bbq, B.B's, Rendezvous, Germantown Commissary, interstate, and central bbq (the best! Just to name a few. So with the taste of Memphis ribs still fresh in my mind, I wanted to make my own version to see how they compared. Here's how they turned out:. First I started out with a simple sweet brine of:. 1 cup salt (pickling). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
No crumb left behind...: Pulled Pork with homemade BBQ sauce and homemade Pretzel Rolls
http://nocrumb.blogspot.com/2011/01/pulled-pork-with-homemade-bbq-sauce-and.html
Monday, January 17, 2011. Pulled Pork with homemade BBQ sauce and homemade Pretzel Rolls. There are few things that would get me out of bed on my day off, and barbecue is one of those things. My alarm went off at 5am, I momentarily forgot why my alarm went off, I knew I didn't have to work, then I remembered I had 16 pounds of delicious pork shoulder to smoke! 8 ounces of molasses. 12 ounces of pickling salt. 2 quarts of water. 2 tablespoons of Paprika. 2 tablespoons of Brown Sugar. 1 tablespoon of Pepper.
