The theme was "007" and I think I double-O-nailed-it. Thanks to Rent-the-Runway, hair clip and falsie lashes, I felt like a million bucks. Friday, November 29, 2013. Friday Finds - Thanksgiving Leftovers. I love Thanksgiving food. As in, I start eating mini-Thanksgiving meals starting in early November. I load up on mashed potatoes, roast turkey, green beans and dressing at the Whole Foods bar. At Boston Market. At diners. Etc. Basically, anywhere I can get a Thanksgiving inspired meal, I eat one. And if you're thinking about maintaining healthy eating through the holidays, there are a few fresh salad options too :). Clockwise from Top L:.

Friday, October 31, 2014. Friday Finds - China to Outfit to Home. A piece of my heart was tapped into when I lived in North Carolina and that piece has been with my ever since. When I was about to lose a few hundred airline points, I knew exactly what I had to do to keep that part of me alive amidst all the hipsters, techies and kale eaters. I ordered a subscription to Southern Living. Clockwise from Top L:. Target - Threshold Embroidered Floral Toss Pillow. Anthropologie - Terry Quilted Washcloths.

Tuesday, January 28, 2014. An Urban Memorial Garden. While they planted, I supervised and remembered. Our urban beautification project and the anniversary of my father-in-law's passing crossed in time. To plant living things and nurture them while they take root is an act of patience and love. As it turns out, so is recalling the memories. We didn't set out to plant a memorial garden, but in the afternoon of togetherness, that's what it became to me. The foliage and flowers have bloomed, re-bloomed a...
