The boarding gate would be closed, we had missed our plane! I told Pinky and she started frantically phoning people to get another flight. It was a terrible nightmare. It has been decided! THE COUNTDOWN FOR NANOWRIMO 2007. Monday, November 19, 2007. Today I should have been writing my thirty-one thousand six hundred and seventy-third word (31,673! Instead, after a huge effort, I reached 20,002. Which I was quite pleased with until I realised I should have been one and a half times that amount, and that there are only 11 days to go. 3,000 words a day from now on. 3k a day is totally doable. You can do it, Valpot! This will all add up to make you DNOTY07! You can do it! The dream is over.

THE COUNTDOWN FOR NANOWRIMO 2007. Thursday, November 15, 2007. As well, cos I only picked her up for a couple of quick hugs any time she asked, so she had to make do with her only soft rugs to sleep on. Is half way over today - I should be at 25000 words! I decided I would be ambitious. But not too much so - I'd try and get my word count up to 12000 in total today. Alas I only made 9120. On the upside, I guess I got my "daily" word count done. Don't seem to have. Got anything else done today though!

THE COUNTDOWN FOR NANOWRIMO 2007. Thursday, November 1, 2007. November 1st - and the start of NanNoWriMo. I was up early (for other reasons) but after breakfast. Decided to do some gardening before starting my new masterpiece. Procrastination, and all those other horrible words, I think. Anyway I eventually buckled down and have written today's quota. It's always nice to know that this is all about quantity - and not quality, which is seriously lacking! I tried to get into the NaNo. The dream is over.

Mummy Valerie nearly didn't make it - and we didn't want to go without her (well, Tottie was prepared to! We had a great time - and we're still on holidays, this time in Blackrock! Wednesday, July 25, 2007. I WANT TO BE LIKE MUNGO. I don't really - but I want to be WITH. Mungo, and luckily for the moment Tots and I are visiting Iseult (Mungo, really). His wonderful competition I WANT TO BE LIKE MUNGO is closed. Tottie and I entered (twice) but both entres were very poor. But what else could they be? How could anyone be like him. I'm looking forward to seeing who won, if any one reached the required standard, but most of all, I'm looking forward to Mungo's new book.
