The Byrnes: March 2010
http://randyandjen.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
ADVENTURES WITH THE BYRNE'S. Monday, March 15, 2010. Our precious baby girl arrived on Thursday March 4, which was almost 2 weeks past her expected due date. I think she just wanted to wait until spring to make her grand entrance into the world. We have had such beautiful weather since she arrived and already she's been out and about in the stroller soaking up the sunshine and fresh air! She was 19 inches long and weighed 8 pounds 15 ounces.(I've been rounding that up to 9 pounds! And now a family of 4!

The Byrnes: July 2009
http://randyandjen.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
ADVENTURES WITH THE BYRNE'S. Wednesday, July 22, 2009. This is a bit of what we've been up to this summer. Camping last year looked a little more like this.well actually we were still backpacking then. Even at 8 months pregnant the two of us together could carry in all that we needed for a couple days- no big deal. We had gotten good at this over the years. Ahhhhand friends this is camping this year! A little morning "camp chat". A bedtime story in the tent. Helping daddy get some water for breakfast.

The Byrnes: December 2009
http://randyandjen.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
ADVENTURES WITH THE BYRNE'S. Wednesday, December 9, 2009. So I've realized it's been quite a while since I've updated the blog! Between a very active toddler and being pregnant and trying to enjoy time with Norah and Randy and get some rest before baby 2 comes blogging hasn't happened. This is quite possibly how it will be after baby 2 arrives in a few weeks! Free time will be very sacred at that point or at least that's what some other moms have told me! I think she might have gotten a little spoiled!

ADVENTURES WITH THE BYRNE'S. Monday, March 16, 2009. The last few months have gone by so quickly in some ways and in other ways it seems like the cold weather and winter has drug on for way to long. I realize days go by much faster now and at the end of the day I often find myself asking "what did I do today? To which I know the answer.feed Norah, changed diapers, maybe some laundry, played, read stories, put Norah down for a nap.and then repeat it all again! I love it though! Oh and she absolutley loves...

Snapshots, Thoughts and What-nots of Living in a Foreign Land. Monday, September 27, 2010. So sorry for the long delay between posts. We just returned to Egypt about 3 weeks ago. As we say in America, we hit the ground running, and we haven't stopped. Also, our internet has been a big source of stress since we got back. We just got it back to normal yesterday. This is just another experience of living in a foreign land. Monday, September 6, 2010. Thought: The Hardest Part of Living Overseas. Above are so...

Snapshots, Thoughts and What-nots of Living in a Foreign Land: May 2011
http://jackieclong.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Snapshots, Thoughts and What-nots of Living in a Foreign Land. Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Are The Streets Safe Yet? My husband found the following short article on-line. It is from a magazine here called "almasry alyoum", which I believe means "The Egypt Daily". (Any of my Egyptian friends can correct me on this if I am wrong.) After the article is a comment left by an Egyptian woman which sums up how I feel. Police Officers Attacked in Three Governates. You've got to be kidding me! In those days there was...

Snapshots, Thoughts and What-nots of Living in a Foreign Land: April 2010
http://jackieclong.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Snapshots, Thoughts and What-nots of Living in a Foreign Land. Friday, April 30, 2010. Being a teacher can be stressful at times, but sometimes it can be very rewarding too. Last Monday was my birthday. After lunch time, I went back to my room to find it all decorated, a chocolate cake sitting there, and all of my kids jumped out from behind their desks and yelled "SURPRISE"! Friday, April 16, 2010. Field trip to the Recycling Center. The room where they sort the paper. One popular tourist attraction is ...
