Why a Noelex family? Some 60 years ago we had inkwells with pen and nibs, transistor radios and typewriters. Shortly thereafter we had the biro and a calculator followed by vinyl records, cassette tapes and the walkman. By the 1980s we had fax machines and businesses had large computers. Then came the desktop personal computer, followed in the 90s by email, CD writers and colour printers. So why not keep up and have a little foresight and be progressive in this new digital age. On 1 July 1996 the role of Newsletter Editor was assumed by Fred Viergever who remained in that position up to the Annual General Meeting of 5 July 2011. Initially newsletter covers bore the name Telltales and were printed by outside printers. In more than 90% of instances progressive ownership of every Noelex yacht residing in Australia is available on request.
