The farm includes cotton, corn, and pumpkins fields. Saturday, March 5, 2011. This week my own personal project was to revamp our flower bed. Originally, the bed was filled with half dead bushes and the soil had rocks and debris throughout. I had a lot of fun choosing perennials and ground cover at Home Depot. I may have turned into a little bit of a green thumb :-) I enjoyed the time outside and the outcome! Tuesday, July 5, 2011. 4th of July in Heiberger, AL. After lunch everyone gathers together on the porch to have a singin'. Right after that there is a softball game with kids and adults.its tradition that the kids never get out. Then everyone packs into the back of a pickup and drives down to the river to swim and hangout. We had so much fun and are going back next year! Our dear friends Tracie and Lori. Thursday, March 31, 2011. What an incredible vacation and 1 year anniversary celebration! We are so glad we could share our first cruise experience with Brad and Rachel Helzer. We missed our first port of call in the Bahamas because a young lady died on the ship (reason unknown to us). The captain made the decision to turn the ship back to Miami to drop off the woman and her family.
