Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Four sets of: apron, tea towel, placement and a pot holder for 4 little chefs, two toddlers and two little boys (4and 5 years old). I totally enjoyed sewing these aprons! Thanks so much Annelise. From Aesthetic Nest for this great tutorial! I made a few changes - for the pocket I cut two armholes and sewed them to make half a circle. It was such a pleasure making the tiny pot holders (a 5"x5" square) and the small place mat (8"x11")! Show and Tell Tuesday. Thanks for stopping by!

Wednesday, January 18, 2012. WIP Wednesday - Kaleidoscope quilt. I made some major progress with the kaleidoscope quilt. Last week I was really stuck with it, I was not happy with the few blocks. I made. They looked too washed out and without character. But since I already cut all the fabrics (with templates! Ahh), I was very reluctant to choose new fabrics, spend time cutting them, and not use the fabrics I cut already. What do you think? I'm linking to Lee at Freshly Pieced. Thanks for stopping by!

Monday, August 22, 2011. Summer. Blazing sun, hot and humid. Time for small projects. My great teacher Marganit showed us how to make this cute basket, and I whipped it in a day. It's so rewarding to be able to start and finish a project in a day or two. Usually I spend weeks on one quilt. It's really great to see results so quickly, gives you a boost and energy to start another project. Maybe some more baskets - different sizes and shapes? I'm linking to Manic Monday.
