Swan family online journal. Monday, September 22, 2014. The twins turned 5 on the 14th, but we've been celebrating their birthday for over a week. We travled to Louisiana the weekend of their birthday to see Carl's side of the family. We had a birthday lunch with Popsie and Nana at Connor's favorite pizza place. The next day the twins got to decorate their own birthday cakes for a celebration in New Iberia. When we got back to Dallas we had a taco party and cupcakes at preschool. Links to this post.

Swan family online journal. Sunday, July 12, 2015. And she replies, "That's what scar means". So, I'm fair, I didn't always use sunscreen, and when I was a teenager I used a tanning booth, none boding well for a clear diagnosis. The doctor told me that the stitches will end up being twice as large as the area she has to remove. Since it's on my face I've opted to have a plastic surgeon close afterwards. Swan family online journal. Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Easter weekend feels like the true kick-off of spring and for the kids there is always more than one celebration. At school they got to color eggs and had a fun egg hunt. In our neighborhood we get a morning visit from the bunny and another fun egg hunt. Connor hung out with the bunny but Chloe said she was too shy. When she was 2 she loved the Easter bunny, I don't know what happened this year. Connor, Easter 2015. Chloe, Easter 2011. Swan family online journal. Saturday, December 13, 2014. Ready for the Holidays. With kids the holidays are super fun. The kids are ready and helped up prep. The weather is so warm we've still been able to play outside some evenings. The kids have helped with decorating. Making decoration's at GiGi's house and designing. They helped with the big tree. I only had to do the higher up decorations. They loved decorating so much we got them a small tree of their own. We are all enjoying the holiday season!

They're cute in person and usually they're pretty photogenic - something they got from their cute Dad. At their new school it's close to graduation and they had pictures taken last week. Swan family online journal. Saturday, July 18, 2015. Carl went to anew store today, Five Below and as the name implies, everything in the store is $5 or less. Connor picked a water gun and Carl got water balloons so everyone was ready to put on their swimsuits when we got home. Filling balloons with water. I told Carl about "Bunch O Balloons". That fills and seals a ton of balloons at the same time. This may be a new purchase soon. Gator full of water balloons. Tons of ways to enjoy the pool!
