We finally arrived in Toro Toro in the evening, at which point our driver rather embarrasingly asked directions to our hostel when we were parked right outside it- The huge sign outside obviously not a big give away to him. The hostel was really nice, very clean, nice room, staff were lovely. They made us a delicious dinner, I had vegetarian lasagne which was really yummy after all that hiking, even better enjoyed in one...

It was undoubtedly the worst landing I have ever seen, and we were so lucky to have stopped when we did. Must have been the only place only, I have no idea why we stayed there, it was so shocking. Not as beautiful or as much to do as other big cities in South America but it was ample for a few days. There are a few really nice plazas surrounded with beautiful buildings. Is the world crazy or am I? Friday, December 21, 2012. The world doesn't end (to anybody's surprise). It also predicts delicious creme filled biscuits. Well that's another ancient apocalyptic message debunked it would seem. At 11.11am GMT on the 21st December 2012 precisely nothing happened, despite the wisdom of the sacred Oreo. To be fair if there was an impending apocalypse the signs would have appeared already, unless of course the economic crisis is to do with that but somehow I don't think so.
