Nicholas Cofrancesco of I HEART PIES. Was out on that hot day, selling the fruit-filled pastries he and his wife Emily bake together. We sampled a strawberry rhubarb piece and picked up a blueberry crumble to go. Delicious! Further evidence that pie is definitely on the rise, from coast to coast. Monday, June 18, 2012.

The program is a form of Public Campaign Financing. Its intention is to give those running for office the opportunity to raise more funds which in theory give them a better chance to compete. Once achieved and the candidate is certified to be on the ballot, the City sends a check to the candidates committee.
