Sunday, May 29, 2011. The Puppy and the Frog. Fritz has a penchant for anything stuffed that makes noise (and pretty much everything else he thinks that we don't want him to have). One morning he went for the frog:. Andrew tried his hardest to pull the frog away from Fritz. Then he tried a different approach. Here's what Drew did when he realized that he wasn't going to win. We had peach cobbler with whipped cream after Sunday dinner. Andrew really whipped the cream. And this is a typical occurrence too.

Saturday, November 13, 2010. Homecoming and Other Happenings. We went for Anna's second trip to the dentist. She did great and even allowed Teresa to polish and floss all of her teeth. It may or may not have had anything to do with the silly bands in the toy chest that she was bribed with. I finally got a picture of Drew smiling! We went over to LSU for all of the Homecoming festivities. We had to park out near the levee and consequently did A LOT of walking. There was lots of food and Anna enjoyed it!

Friday, April 29, 2011. Here are a few things that we've done during spring break:. Anna harassed/played with Andrew (I guess that would depend on who you talked to! And Drew gave it right back to her! Drew spent lots of time building up his quadriceps,. And strengthening his abdominals laughing at me. We had two playdates with Parker and Paige. Anna and Drew took turns spending the night with Nanny and Poppy. Andrew, WHAT are you doing? We went to the Castleberry's house to play on the slip n slide.

Saturday, September 24, 2011. I have only worked two full weeks out of the past six. Both of these Turkeys keep getting sick! The day after Drew got tubes, Anna got strep throat (again), which morphed into scarlet fever. She refused to take her medicine, so the next day we had to go back to the doctor and get a shot. Take a look at her tongue- it's called "strawberry tongue" and it's a side effect of strep/scarlet fever. I was a little too excited by it. Drew now says, "uh oh! Clean up, clean up. Lilypie...

Tuesday, February 21, 2012. On Friday evening, we went over the the Pasquier's house to watch the Krewe of Southdowns. The kids outnumbered the adults, so they had a fantastic time! I wonder why every time Kristen and I take a picture together, she is always holding a beer? On Monday, we headed down to New Orleans to visit my family, though by the time any parades were rolling, the kids were done. They spent a lot of time running and playing under the house, which had been raised to be above flood level.

Monday, May 21, 2012. April, also a month late. Easter was at the end of spring break this year. Anna and Drew couldn't wait to dye eggs! Thursday, June 30, 2011. I have come to the startling realization that summer is halfway over :(. Shaun maintains that he can't wait to go back. In an attempt to reclaim our house from the landslide of kids' toys, we decided to make Anna's old room a play room and move her to our old guest room.
