We walked across the moat, and aswe often do, wandered aimlessly, starving and arguing because we were deliriously hungry. Who Dats' adventure of a lifetime! Feb 5, 2011. Battle at the Botulism Bowl. Our first night in the hut, and we had to do battle with a roach. Phyl was brushing her teeth when she saw the movement out of the corner of her eye. It ran down the wall and under the bags. I hope we're not going to be terrorized by roaches while we're here. You know I hate killing them. P- Don't let it get away! G- Huh. That was easy enough. P- Why did you use my shoe? P- I don't think that one flies either. G- Use to them?

Returning to the river, we ate an early lunch, more Vietnamese pancakes, along the river, where we also waited out an afternoon rain shower. We then purchased a ticket to a Hoi An walking tour that gained us entry into 5 homes or historical buildings.
