Thursday, February 25, 2016. Travel Essentials: Sara Mac. No matter the trip or the destination, these essential are always coming with me! Essential #1: Crossbody bag. In my experience, a crossbody bag is a MUST when traveling. They are perfect for crowded subways and cities or just exploring a new destination. When "window shopping" at Nordstrom with LavieJaime I saw this Rebecca Minkoff. I love the color, size, and style. Photo Credit: Yogibo.com. Essential # 3: Sunglasses. Photo Credit: Loft.com.

Pool outside the city and hanging out in the clear, cool water was a perfect way to beat the heat. Since I am fair skinned, I always heavily cover myself in sunscreen. Block Island Organics. I have been concerned with what I put in. My body, but I am also aware now of what I put on. Plus, I loved the fresh smell!

Amazing- a separate post to come! Saturday before the wedding, we went to the beach then that night celebrated the happy couple at Clay Hill Farm. My step-nephew was a hoot during the wedding and it was so fun to be around some of my family members that I hadn't seen since Christmas. From Best Dressed Charlestown.

Hitchhiking Stories
Amazing things seen or done. Gear and what to pack. Thursday, August 6, 2015. Faith in humanity, restored. So there I was, trying to get some sleep before sunrise and it was before sunrise that my small bagpack was gone. Alone with some important (but replaceable) stuff. It was nice to get out of the city for a few hours and enjoy nature! On the island we hiked (leisurely walked) around. In all we did about 5 miles! Mid way through we stopped at one of the gazebos and ate our packed picnic lunch. The views from the top of the island are great, Boston is truly breathtaking! You can find more information here.
