The Outdoor Adventures of a 20-something. August 5, 2015. August 6, 2015. We are officially into August and I have one month left of work before going back to school to do my Masters. I’m really enjoying what I’m doing, but the commute? Not so much (read: 4-hours round trip to get to and from work). This month is going to fly by with work wrapping up, orientation activities at school, and some events to look forward to at the end of the month. What do I hope to accomplish in August? 1 Go on a fishing trip.

The Outdoor Adventures of a 20-something. 2015 Niagara Sprint Triathlon Relay. July 22, 2015. July 27, 2015. This past Sunday was the Subaru Niagara Triathlon. In Grimbsy, Ontario. I participated in the swim leg of the sprint triathlon relay: 750 m swim, 25 km bike, 7 km run. Southern Ontario was hit was a massive heat wave over the weekend, so I can’t say I was too jealous of the bikers and runners…the water was nice and cool, and with my wetsuit on it was the perfect temperature! The buzz before go time.
